LiveOffshore is dedicated to protecting your privacy and handling any personal information we obtain from you with care and respect. This Privacy Policy is designed to lay out our policies. The purpose of our policy is to inform you about the types of information we gather about you when you visit LiveOffshore, how we may use that information, whether we disclose it to anyone, and the choices you have regarding our use of the information. Please read this notice. By using this site, you assent to our privacy policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our site.
1. We collect several types of personally identifiable information about our guests.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US
The personally identifiable information we receive comes directly from those guests who are interested in obtaining various products from us. Currently, this information is limited to the guest's name, username, e-mail address, and any questions or comments that you provide. All submissions to LiveOffshore become the property of LiveOffshore. This information may be used for correspondence, providing you with a newsletter, soliciting content, or information about updates to our website. IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO BE KNOWN BY LIVEOFFSHORE OR ITS ADVERTISERS, DON'T PROVIDE IT!
INFORMATION COLLECTED THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
LiveOffshore collects information through technology to make our sites more interesting and useful to you. For example, when you come to LiveOffshore, we collect your IP address. An IP address is often associated with the portal through which you enter the Internet, like your ISP (Internet service provider), your company, or your university. Standing alone, your IP address is not personally identifiable. At times, we also use IP addresses to collect information regarding the frequency with which our guests visit various parts of our sites. We may in the future combine this information with personally identifiable information. Additional non-personally identifiable information that we collect is your type of operating system, web browser, the country you are from, and the day, week, and hour of your visit.
LiveOffshore also uses cookies. Cookies are pieces of information that a Web site sends to your computer while you are viewing the Web site. We and other companies use cookies for a variety of purposes. For instance, when you return to one of our sites after logging in, cookies provide information to the site so that the site will remember who you are. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Firefox or Internet Explorer) settings. Each browser is different. To adjust your settings, look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you may not have access to many features that make your Web experience smoother, like the features mentioned above, and some of our services may not function properly.
Additionally, LiveOffshore collects the search terms -keywords and key phrases- through which you found our website. This information will be used to better tailor LiveOffshore to make our site more interesting, helpful, and useful to you.
INFORMATION COLLECTED BY THIRD PARTIES
Many advertisements are managed and placed on our Web sites by third parties. These companies are called "advertisers." Advertisers who place advertisements on our Web sites may also use cookies and Web beacons to collect non-personally identifiable information when you click on or move your cursor over one of their banner advertisements. You may not realize this information is being collected. In some cases, we may have access to information from Web beacons and cookies used by network advertisers on our sites and this information may permit us to identify other sites that you have visited that are also associated with the network advertiser. Finally, once you've clicked on an advertisement and have left our Web sites, our Privacy Policy no longer applies and you must read the privacy policy of the advertiser to see how your personal information will be handled on their site.
In addition to our advertisers, our site contains links to other web sites. We have no control over the privacy practices or the content of other sites to which we provide links from our site. They are provided for your information only. LiveOffshore makes absolutely no guarantee as to the legitimacy, truthfulness, or accuracy of the information provided to you. It is provided for informational purposes only. USER BEWARE!
2. We may disclose non-personally identifiable information collected, in aggregate form only, to third parties including advertisers or potential advertisers.
3. The security of your information is important to LiveOffshore. We have implemented technical and physical security measures to protect our guest's information. Despite LiveOffshore's best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. LiveOffshore cannot guarantee the security of any information that you submit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
4. LiveOffshore may amend this Privacy Policy at anytime. If we make any material changes in the way we collect, use, and/or share your personal information, we will notify you by sending you an e-mail at the last e-mail address that you provided us, and/or by prominently posting notice of the changes on the Web sites covered by this Privacy Policy. You are responsible for updating your personal information to provide us your current e-mail address. In the event that the last e-mail address that you have provided us is not valid, or for any other reason is not capable of delivering to you the notice described above, our dispatch of the e-mail containing such notice will nonetheless constitute effective notice of the changes described in the notice.
