 It
has been announced that the Chief Minister of Anguilla, Hubert
Hughes, and the Australian Deputy High Commissioner in London,
Adam McCarthy, have signed a bilateral tax information exchange
agreement (TIEA) between Australia and Anguilla. |
 During
the past week Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
and Anguilla, an overseas territory of the United Kingdom, have
signed a total of 14 tax information exchange agreements. |
 With
all the hoopla over the health care bill, hardly anybody noticed
that a job creation bill that President Obama signed on March
18 makes it much harder for United States citizens to avoid taxes
by hiding money in overseas bank accounts. |

The
left-wing group Global Financial Integrity actually demonstrates
that the United States is actually the biggest beneficiary of
tax haven polices, with more than $2 trillion on non-resident
deposits in American Financial institutions.

good news is that proponents of limited government are fired up
and fighting for freedom. Obama’s statist proposals on everything
from health care to taxes have reinvigorated the leave-us-alone
coalition

face a doubling in their fines under plans to be announced in
the Budget.
